Dr. Carly Bahler, Instructor of French, was announced as the recipient of this year’s College of Arts and Sciences Teaching Award. This award annually recognizes one faculty member from each of the three discipline areas (Humanities, Social and Behavioral Sciences, Natural and Physical Sciences) for their outstanding contributions to the teaching mission of the College. Dr. Bahler, who teaches French and serves as the coordinator of the introductory and intermediate French language sequence, was this year’s recipient in the Humanities; this marks the third consecutive year in which a member of the Department of Classical & Modern Languages and Literatures has been recognized with this award.
