FRENCH LANGUAGE PROGRAM IN TOURS

Learn French in the heartland of France! Spend six weeks in the beautiful city of Tours, a vibrant university town of 300,000 in the Loire Valley, located just one hour and a half southwest of Paris by train. Immerse yourself in French language and culture through intensive classes at the Institut de Touraine. While living with local French host families, students will explore the historic medieval district in Tours while soaking up regional culture, including excursions to the famous châteaux de la Loire, designated as UNESCO World Heritage site. Students will also discover the City of Lights, with a two-night stay in Paris, visiting major cultural sites and landmarks such as Notre-Dame, the Eiffel Tower, world-class museums and even embarking on a mini-cruise on the Seine river to take in the breathtaking views that the French capital has to offer!

SPANISH LANGUAGE AND CULTURE IN SPAIN
Program Site: Alcalá de Henares, Spain

Earn 6-12 hours of Spanish credit by studying this summer in Alcalá de Henares, Spain! You will take classes from the Spanish faculty at Alcalingua, and classes with MSU faculty (Hybrid program only). You will also go on cultural and historical excursions to Madrid and Segovia, all with time for travel and cultural immersion. Alcalá de Henares is a city of roughly 200,000 people, located within easy travel distance of nearby Madrid, and with very good connections to transportation to all parts of Spain. This program is suitable for all undergraduate students, including students majoring in Spanish or International Business, students earing a minor in Spanish, or students looking for an exciting summer experience.
