Anthony Gonzalez feels nothing short of “ecstatic” to be in our Spanish program. Hailing from Houston, MS, Anthony received his BA in Spanish from the University of Mississippi. After completing his MA, he plans to pursue certification in medical or legal interpreting to better serve the Hispanic community in the state and region. In his free time, he likes hiking, seeing live music, or watching a good TV show or movie.
CMLL’s French MA program welcomes Eunice Koomson. A native of West Africa, Eunice studied French and Economics during her undergraduate degree at the University of Ghana. This self-described “absolute language enthusiast” has also explored French culture throughout her life, at home and abroad. Most recently, she was a teaching assistant in Poitiers, France before arriving at MSU. When not in class, Eunice enjoys binge-watching movies and exploring new cuisines.
Saidi Adegbite comes to our French program with a wealth of teaching experience, including in his native Nigeria and Rouen, France. Passionate about real-world applications of French, Saidi sees French as a passport for employment, travel, and culture. His goal is to help students speak, understand, and use French in their studies and careers, where it can give them an edge in business, science, diplomacy, and cultural awareness.
One of MSU’s own, Kore Larry received dual bachelor’s degrees in international business and Spanish in Spring 2025. She is glad to continue her education here as a master’s student in Spanish. Kore is specifically interested in linguistic anthropology of Afro-Latino people. Her pastimes include bird watching, playing guitar, and roller skating. Kore is a lover of the outdoors, so you can spot her outside Lee Hall in her free time!
